THE HILL | Alabama A&M University head men's basketball coach Donte' Jackson revealed on Thursday the 2025-26 schedule, which features hosting an MTE Tournament for the second consecutive season and matchups against members of the Big Ten, ACC and SEC.
AAMU went 10-22 overall and 6-12 in Southwestern Atlantic Conference (SWAC) play last season and competed in the conference tournament, falling to Grambling State in the quarterfinals.
"It was important to our staff that we put together a schedule that prepares us for the intensity of an 18-game SWAC schedule," Jackson said. " We will play several high-profile teams like Indiana, Clemson and Ole Miss that will get us ready for the tough environments we will see this season in league play.
"We are also excited to get our first taste of Bulldog basketball in Huntsville! We will also have eight home games for this upcoming non-conference slate, so I look forward to seeing our fan base in the Event Center."
Alabama A&M begins the season with a pair of exhibition games, starting on Oct. 13 with the Ballin in Boutwell matchup with Samford, followed by a contest on Oct. 27, hosting UAH in the return of the Mayor's Cup.

The Bulldogs open December with a home game against Tennessee State (Dec. 3), followed by a trip to Lipscomb on Dec. 7. AAMU plays host to Arkansas Baptist and North Alabama on Dec. 13 and 15, respectively. The Bulldogs will meet Ole Miss on Dec. 17 in Tupelo, Miss., followed by home games against Chattanooga (Dec. 21) and Fisk (Dec. 30) to wrap up the non-conference slate.
