Nisaan Martinez combined for 37 kills as the Alabama A&M University volleyball team completed a perfect week with a 3-0 victory over Miles College on Saturday morning inside T.M. Elmore Gymnasium.

After struggling early, Alabama A&M stormed ahead in the opening set, winning 25-20, and rolled past the Golden Bears in the second set, 25-9. The Bulldogs (4-1) closed out the match with a 25-22 win in the third set.

Alabama A&M finished with 54 kills (hitting .362), 49 assists, 45 digs, 5.0 total team blocks and four service aces.

Martinez registered a match-high 19 kills, hitting .485, with three digs, one block assist and one service aces. Ramirez recorded 18 kills, hitting .452, with five digs, two block solos and one service aces.
Briana Smith and
Kaydee Smith posted 30 and 17 assists, respectively, while
Kelani Talakai added a match-high 18 digs.

Miles College (1-1) finished with 30 kills, 32 digs, 27 assists, 4.0 total team blocks and two service aces.

Karea Copeland led the Golden Bears with eight kills, five digs and service ace. Jaida Lloyd posted 24 assists, while Eliyah Mcllwain tallied 10 digs.
