ORANGEBURG, S.C. | Czaske Deane opened the scoring in the first half and the Alabama A&M University women's soccer team added two more goals in the second half in ending a three-game losing streak with a 3-0 over South Carolina State on Sunday at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.
After a slow start, Alabama A&M (2-6) broke the 0-0 tie in the 18
th minute as Deane's shot beat South Carolina State's goalkeeper Jada Gittings to lower right side of the goal, giving AAMU a 1-0 lead.
Alabama A&M doubled the scoreline in the 67
th minute when
Renee Miller added a goal, assisted by
Albany Rios, pushing the margin to 2-0.
Brea Bailey got into the scoring column, assisted by
Amelia Barber, and sealed the AAMU victory with just four minutes to play as Alabama A&M earned the road victory.
