AUBURN, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women's team opened its season on Sunday, dropping a 7-0 decision to Auburn at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
Auburn (6-0) took the doubles points, winning at No. 1 and No. 2.
The Tigers closed out the sweep by winning all six singles matches.
Melissa Mwakha had the biggest day for Alabama A&M (0-1) as she went the distance at No. 6 singles. She fell to Natalie Outcalt, 10-7, 3-6 and 6-0.
