Obie Trotter, a 2006 graduated from AAMU and received the prestigious All-SWAC Defensive Player of the Year award that year, is currently playing professionally in Iceland. He helped Hottur Egilsstadir defeated Fylkir, 108-80, in the Icelandic Division I, the second division, last Tuesday. Trotter provided eight points, five assists and three steals and is averaging 10.2 points, 4.7 assists, 2.7 boards and 1.9 steals in 15 games this season.
Jeremy Ingram, 2013 graduate of Alabama A&M, currently plays professionally in Croatia. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to lead Amphora to victory against Mladost ZG in the Croatian Prva Hrvatska Kosarkaska Liga (second division). In the 119-92 defeat, Ingram scored four points in 16 minutes. This season, Ingram is averaging 16.5 points, 4.1 boards, 3.0 assists and 1.2 steals.
Nick West, a forward who graduated from AAMU in 2016 and received the All-SWAC Second Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Bahrain. He could not help Al-Muharraq in a 91-87 loss to Al Ittihad in Jeddah. West showcased his skills by recording a double-double with 28 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 40 minutes of play. West is averaging 25.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in six games.
Xavier Brewer, a 2023 graduate of Alabama A&M, currently plays professionally in Malta, and could not help Luxol in a 107-66 loss to the Hibermians. Brewer posted a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds in 32 minutes and is averaging 30.0 points, 14.0 boards and 1.5 assists this season.
