MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Lukas Lange shot a 2-under-par 70 during the final round as the Alabama A&M University men's golf team concluded play on Tuesday at the ASU Spring Classic by finishing second at the Arrowhead Country Club.
Lange, who shot 4 under for the tournament, recorded two birdies and one bogey on the front nine, but registered four birdies, along with three bogey's, to post a 70 and claim the third spot.
Alabama State's Robert Wood's was the individual medalist, carding a 10-under par 206, while Florida A&M's Phalatphon Viboonviriyaskul placed second at 8 under.
Vicente Rodriguez finished tied for sixth with a 216, followed by
Samuel Boddie, who was tied for 17
th, with a 225.
James Fujita and
Kourey Patterson rounded out the individual scoring with 227s.
Alabama A&M shot a final-round 290 and wrapped up the three rounds with an 871 to claim second. Florida A&M won the tournament, shooting an even-par 864. Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Evansville was tied for third, with an 875, followed by Alabama State (879), Southern (904) and Jackson State (924).
