Bulldogs Conclude Regular Season at Music City Classic

NASHVILLE, Tenn. | The Alabama A&M University women's bowling team concluded the regular season over the weekend at the Music City Classic at Smyrna Lanes.
 
Alabama A&M went 4-9 over the weekend and finished 28th as Jacksonville State won the meet, posting a 13-0 record, while Sam Houston State (8-5) and Vanderbilt (10-3) finished second and third, respectively.
 
The Bulldogs opened play on Friday with the Baker format. Alabama A&M went 1-4 on the first day, picking up an 839-828 victory over Aurora. AAMU dropped matches to Jackson State, Marian, Louisiana Tech and Vanderbilt.
 
On Saturday in traditional play, Alabama A&M dropped the first three matches, falling to McKendree, Oklahoma Christian and Arkansas State, before earning wins over Lewis (901-874) and Alabama State (920-871).
 
In Sunday's bracket play, the Bulldogs were 1-2, losing to Lewis (4-1) and Carroll (4-0), while earning a 4-2 come-from-behind win over Lewis.
 
Alabama A&M will compete in the 2026 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Bowling Championship March 21-23 in Dallas, Texas.
