ATLANTA, GA. | Alabama A&M University men's tennis enjoyed a strong weekend at the HBCU National Championships, highlighted by Mihnea Stanciu capturing the Flight B singles championship.

Stanciu opened the quarterfinal round with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Jerry Christopher Brow Salinas. He followed with another straight-set win in the semifinals, defeating Adrian Matei Nedelcu 6-4, 6-0 to advance to the championship match.

In the Flight B final, Stanciu completed his championship run with a 6-4, 6-1 victory over No. 6 seed Ronaldo Vera, securing the HBCU National Championship.

Noah Koffi also delivered a strong performance, winning the Flight B singles consolation championship. Koffi defeated Joseph Puig Mccallan of Alcorn State in the final after overcoming an early 6-2 deficit. Koffi responded by winning six consecutive games to claim an 8-6 comeback victory.

On the women's side, Nardine Salem finished fourth in the Women's Flight B draw, adding another strong individual result for Alabama A&M.

Stanciu's championship, combined with Koffi's consolation title and Salem's fourth-place finish, highlighted a productive weekend for the Bulldogs at the HBCU National Championships.
