MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The Alabama A&M men's tennis team earned a strong 4-0 victory over Mississippi Valley State on Thursday afternoon in Montgomery, improving to 2-7 overall on the season.
The Bulldogs battled through doubles play to open the match before taking control in singles competition.
Alabama A&M gave a dominant showing in singles matches with Juwan Bae delivering a commanding straight-set performance at No. 4 singles with a (6-0, 6-0) win over Ezekial Smoot. Eduardo De Benedictis Andretta followed with another decisive result at No. 5 singles, defeating Malachi Finley (6-0, 6-0).
Additional strong performances across the lineup helped the Bulldogs close out the match as Alabama A&M captured the needed singles points to secure the 4-0 sweep over the Delta Devils.
