Game 1 - UAB 12, AAMU 3
Game 2 - UAB 11, AAMU 1
Alabama A&M held its own for the greater part of two games at UAB on Tuesday night, but in the end, the Blazers left Young Memorial Field with a pair of victories, 12-3 and 11-1 over the Bulldogs. A.J. Campbell held UAB batters at bay over the first 4.1 innings giving up just one hit and one earned run in the second game before the Blazers pounded out seven runs in the fifth inning to put the game out of reach. Much the same in the first game as Juan Flores kept A&M in the game for the first half, but a five-run fourth and a three-run fifth doomed the Bulldogs (10-19).
LaDale Hayes drove in the lone run of the second game for A&M, and Diego Lopez and Marcus Spencer each had two hits in the first game to lead the offense.
