Box Score / Katrich Williams led the Alabama A&M women's basketball team with 23 points and three steals in a 78-70 victory at T.M. Elmore Gymnasium on Mon. Feb. 22. Nesfayia Watkins had 11 points and five boards in 24 minutes of action. Whiquitta Tobar tallied 10 points and a team-high six rebounds. With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 14-9 on the year, including a 10-4 mark in the SWAC. They will travel to play Prairie View on Feb. 27 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

As a team, the Bulldogs shot 58 percent from the field (29-for-50), while holding the Braves to a 39.1 clip (25-of-64). A&M's bench outscored Alcorn's bench 24-16, but the Braves won the battle of the boards 38-33. The Bulldogs also converted 27 Alcorn turnovers into 30 points.
