STILLWATER, Okla. - Alabama A&M snapped its eight-game losing streak Tuesday with one of the most impressive Bulldog triumphs in any sport, and the biggest victory in the history of the A&M baseball program, a 6-5 extra inning win at Oklahoma State. The Cowboys were riding an eight-game winning streak and were 12-2 heading into Tuesday's games. Oklahoma State did earn the split in the nightcap with a 26-0 victory. The two teams will complete the series Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.

Game 1 - Alabama A&M 6, Oklahoma State 5 (10 innings)
The Bulldogs scored a single run in the top of the 10th inning on an RBI single by Kency Duarte. Norbert Riggins opened the inning with a single to left field. He advanced into scoring position on a bunt sacrifice by Lamar Bridges. After LaDale Hayes made the second out on a

fly ball to center field, Duarte delivered the biggest RBI base hit in Bulldog history.

Charles McKay (1-1) worked his way through the Cowboy 10th giving up a double in the inning, but closed the game and earned the victory. McKay worked 3.0 innings in relief, giving up just one hit and striking out three. Juan Flores started the game and worked 6.0 innings and gave up four runs on seven hits. Joshua Blocker worked one inning in relief of Flores and gave up a run on three Cowboy hits.

After falling behind 1-0 after the first inning, Alabama A&M rallied to take a 5-1 lead after four innings. Bridges spurred a three-run third with a leadoff single and later scored on Duarte's single to center field. Deon Hall singled and stole second to set up Davion Ruckers two-RBI base hit through the right side to give A&M a 3-1 lead. Hayes gave A&M its 5-1 lead plating a pair of runs with a single through the left side.

Oklahoma State rallied for three runs in the fifth and another in the eighth to tie the game. That set up Duarte's dramatic game-winning hit.

Game 2 - Oklahoma State 26, Alabama A&M 0
The Cowboys pounded out 24 hits and held A&M to just two singles and a walk as only three Bulldogs reached base.  Riggins and Hayes collected the base hits for A&M.  Sanchez Tucker (2-1) started and went 5.0 innings on the mound.  Bulldog pitchers walked 13 batters and hit another two in the game.
