Game 1 / Game 2 - Baseball dropped a doubleheader against the Braves of Alcorn State on Sun. April 25 at Bulldog Field by scores of 12-1 and 6-0. A&M recorded seven hits in the first game, but only one run. In the second match, the Bulldogs were held to just for hits. The losses drop A&M to 15-26 on the season. The maroon and white are back in action on Tues. when it faces Talladega for a doubleheader beginning at noon.

Alcorn 12, AAMU 1
Steven Wimpeye and Lamar Bridges recorded two hits for the Bulldogs. Bridges also added an RBI when he drove in Norbert Riggins in the bottom of the fifth for the only A&M run. Lincoln Monquete took the loss on the mound - pitching three innings but giving up seven runs.

Alcorn 6, AAMU 0
A&M struggled on the offensive end, only recording four hits. Kency Duarte went 2-for-4 at the plate. Noel Santos and Bridges had the only other hits for the Bulldogs. Chris Hernandez took the loss giving up 13 hits in eight innings of work.
