NORMAL - The AlabamaA&M women's basketball team held off the Racers of Murray State University76-71 in the T.M. Elmore Gymnasium on Tuesday evening.
Whiquitta Tobar scored a season-high 29 points and pulled in nine rebounds to lead the Lady Bulldogs Tuesday night.
Teammate Nadra Robertson tallied 14 points while Shundray Davis added 10. NaDra Robinson pulled a career high 16 rebounds as size was in favor of the Maroon & White.
The Lady Bulldogs held a 36-31 halftime lead.
For the Racers, Mariah Robinson led her team with 25 points and eight rebounds.
The Lady Bulldogs will take a break for Thanksgiving and return to the hardwood on Nov. 29 to hostTennessee Tech. Tip-off is slated for 6:00 p.m.
