NORMAL – Fresh off their second win of the season the Alabama A&M baseball team will welcome Alcorn State University to a three-game Southwestern Athletic Conference series this weekend.
The Bulldogs (2-13) are coming off their second victory of the season with a 10-9 decision over Tuskegee University Wednesday afternoon. Kency Duarte is leading the Maroon & White with a .405 batting average in 14 contest played.
With five starts on the year Sanchez Tucker, who picked up his first win versus Tuskegee, has a 7.58 ERA and a 1-4 record to lead all Bulldog pitchers.
The Braves bring in a 3-11 record with Cole Vicars leading Alcorn with a .344 batting average.
On Saturday, March 19 the doubleheader will begin at noon and 2:30 p.m. The single game on Sunday, March 20th will start at 1 p.m.
