A&M Volleyball squares off against rival Alabama State

Normal - The Alabama A&M volleyball team is set to play in-state rival Alabama State in Montgomery, Ala., on Tuesday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m. in Lockhart Gymnasium.
 
A&M (8-19, 5-2) stands second in the Eastern Division with wins over Alcorn, Mississippi Valley, and Alabama State. Their two losses in the Southwestern Athletic Conference came by way of Jackson State.
 
The Lady Bulldogs come into the game hitting .185 as a team, which is second in the conference. They are led offensively by Clairissa Moore who is second in the league hitting .284 percent and Bianca Richardson who is third with .273%.

Moore has 331 kills on the year, which is also second in the league and averages 3.76 kills per set. Ashley Foreman leads the conference averaging 8.71 assists per set and has 793 assists on the season.

The Lady Hornets hold the third spot in the East with a record of 7-23 overall and 3-3 in the conference. They were defeated by the Maroon & White in their most recent contest.
