Women's Basketball Travels to the Bluegrass State

MURRAY - The Alabama A&M women's basketball team will face the Racers of Murray State on Sunday, Dec. 16that 12:00 p.m., at the CFSB Center.

A&M enters the game with a 1-4 record and is coming off an 80-57 loss to Memphis.

Twin sisters Alyssa and Brittney Strickland currently lead the Lady Bulldogs with 8.5 and 7.3 points per game, while NaDra Robertson is averaging 5.3 rebounds per contest to lead the Lady Bulldogs on the boards.

The Racers posted one of their best offensive performances in school history with a 110-28 win over Mid-Continent at the CFSB Center.

The closest win for Murray State versus A&M came in the first meeting when they topped the Lady Bulldogs, 61-59, on Jan. 15, 2007 in Normal. Murray leads the series 4-1. Last season the Maroon and White defeated the Racers 76-71.
