Bulldogs welcome Tuskegee University to a Wednesday Doubleheader

NORMAL – The Bulldog baseball team will welcome in-state rival Tuskegee University to a doubleheader set to begin at noon at the Bulldog baseball field on Wednesday, February 29^th.

A&M (3-5) is riding a three game losing streak after falling to Indiana State 12-0 and 7-0 and Western Illinois 11-2 during the Bulldog Classic.

Juan Lopez leads the Maroon & White at the plate with a .240 average with six hits, four runs, three doubles, and three RBI’s.

Freshman Josh Freeman leads all pitchers on the mound posting a 2-0 record after 15 innings pitched. Freeman has given up eight hits and three earned runs in two appearances while totaling seven strikeouts.

The Golden Tigers bring in a 0-10 record and is led by Jeremy Williams who is batting .267 in nine contests.

The doubleheader is set for two seven inning matches. Admission is free.
