A&M Baseball Scrimmages set for this Weekend

NORMAL – The 2012 edition of Alabama A&M baseball continues to prepare for the upcoming season.

On February 4th and 5th, the Bulldogs will hold inter-squad scrimmages beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

“We are just excited to get the guys on the field,” said head coach Michael Tompkins, who is the youngest Division I coach in America.
“We’re looking forward to opening weekend on Feb. 17 versus Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne.

“The team really looks forward to see Bulldog fans in the stands for the scrimmages and during the season,” Tompkins mentioned.

All scrimmages will be held at the Bulldogs baseball field and are free and open to the public.
