Pro Day & Baseball home game on “The Hill” Tuesday, March 6th

NORMAL – The annual Alabama A&M football Pro Day is yet again amoung us and will be held on Tuesday, March 6^th at 10 a.m. in the George Hobson field house.

Bulldog seniors looking to show the NFL scouts what they are made of include Corey Hart, Rico Porch, Markeit Cliatt, Willie Fuller, Anthony Jackson, Clarence Morris, Carlos Tolbert and Addison Walker.

The event is free and open to the public.

That afternoon the Bulldog baseball team will welcome Austin Peay University to a nine inning single non-conference contest at 2:00 p.m. The game will be played at Bulldog baseball field and is free.

A&M is currently on a three-game losing streak after falling in their first league match-up to in-state rival Alabama State 14-2, 9-2 and 7-2 this past weekend.

Sophomore Chris Thomas leads the Maroon & White at the plate hitting .368 in eight contests. Freshman Josh Freeman is the only A&M player with a winning pitching record of 2-1 and the lowest ERA with 3.00 in three appearances and 21 innings pitched.

Austin Peay comes in with a 7-3 record after defeating Akron University 14-4.
