Bulldog Baseball opens five-game road trip

NORMAL – The Alabama A&M baseball team opens a five-game road trip today in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The Oklahoma State University Cowboys will host the Maroon & White to a three game, three day series beginning, Friday, March 9^th ending Sunday March 10^th.

The Bulldogs which have not played a game outside the state of Alabama in 2012, has lost four-straight games and is 5-9 on the season. They are hitting .203 as a team, and their pitching staff owns an 8.01 ERA.

Expected to start on the mound this weekend for the Bulldogs are:

Fri. - RHP Josh Freeman, 2-1, 3.00

Sat. - LHP Blake Perry, 0-2, 9.75

Sun. - RHP Allen Belue 1-2, 7.56

OSU is 2-1 all-time against Alabama A&M. The two teams met in a three-game series in Stillwater in 2010 with the Bulldogs winning the opener in 10 innings before the Cowboys won the final two contests.
