Maroon & White Baseball to host Savannah State

NORMAL – The A&M baseball team will look for win number seven when the Tigers if Savannah State University visit on Saturday and Sunday, April 14-15. First pitch for the doubleheaders is set for noon.

The Bulldogs are riding a six game losing streak after a 13-1 defeat at the hands of Tennessee Tech Wednesday evening.

Junior Deon Hall leads at the plate with a .333 batting average with 12 hits and the lone homerun for Alabama A&M.

Freshman Josh Freeman has a 5.19 ERA and a 2-5 record after eight appearances on the mound in 50.1 innings pitched.

The Tigers are led by Antonio Scott with a .320 batting average in 10 games played.

Admission is free and all games will be played at Bulldog field.
