Samford University Baseball to visit “The Hill”

NORMAL – The Samford University Bulldogs will travel to Huntsville, Alabama for a 3 p.m. date with the Alabama A&M Bulldogs at the Bulldog baseball field on Tuesday, April 3^rd.

The Maroon and White fell two games to one this past weekend to Jackson State University but broke their 17 game losing streak with an 11-10 ninth inning win in the middle game of the series.

Leading A&M at the plate is Deon Hall, who in 18 games is batting .333 with 10 hits, eight runs, two runs batted in and a double.

Samford has five players hitting over .300 with Saxon Butler hitting .393 in 28 contests.

Champs Adams will get the start for the Maroon & White. The first year player is 1-2 in seven appearances this season with three starts.
