Volleyball to hosts Alabama State on White Out Night Thursday

NORMAL - The Alabama A&M volleyball team (2-15, 1-0) will host intra-state rival Alabama State University at the T.M. Elmore Gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 27^th.

It’s "White Out Night" on “The Hill” as the Lady Hornets (1-16, 1-0) visit on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.

A&M returns to Elmore where it sports a 2-0 home record this season, including a three set victory five days ago in the conference opener against Alcorn State.

Alabama State played a tough pre-conference schedule as their first win came against the same opponent AAMU defeated, Alcorn.

The Lady Bulldogs are the SWAC’s top offensive team with a .150 hitting percentage. Bianca Richardson is second in the league in hitting at .268 while teammate Clarissa Moore is fifth at .254. Moore also has a league high 190 kills and Ashley Foreman is tops in assists with 8.09 per set.

Head coach Nedra Brown is asking that all Alabama A&M fans who come out and support to wear your white.
