Huntsville - Morehead State starter Aaron Goe gave the Eagles a gem on Opening Day, dealing Alabama A&M a 11-0 defeat in the first game of the 2013 Bulldogs Classic on Friday in Joe Davis Stadium.

Alabama A&M sophomore right-hander Josh Freeman, who allowed seven earned runs in four innings, was tagged with the loss. The Bulldogs collected eight hits, but seven were just singles.

Goe fired seven scoreless innings and the Morehead State baseball team pounded out 20 hits.

Sophomore right fielder Brandon Rawe led five Morehead State players with multiple hits. He finished 4-for-5 at the plate with three runs and three RBI’s.

The Indiana State baseball team dropped their opening game of the 2013 season on Friday, falling 2-0 to the IPFW Mastodons at Joe Davis Stadium in Huntsville, Ala.

Indiana State tallied just two hits for the game, but drew 10 walks and left a total of 10 runners on base.
