Baseball set for first road Test

Normal- The Alabama A&M baseball team willto fac head to Birmingham, Ala. for a single game against Samford University.

The 1-3 Bulldogs will face the 3-1 Bulldogs of Samford University on Tuesday night (Feb. 19^th) at Joe Lee Griffin Field beginning at 6 p.m.

The Maroon & White are coming off a 1-3 performance in the 2^nd annual Bulldog Classic in which they split two games with Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne (7-6, 6-7). Unfortunately they lost to both games to Indiana State (12-5) and Morehead State (11-0).

After four games, A&M is led at the plate by Patrick Dodson, batting .533 with four RBI’s, while Julio Nunez is batting .438 with seven hits and four runs.

Samford is led by SoCon Player of the Week Tommy Corbin who is batting .667 and has four RBI’s in four games.

In the last eight seasons, Samford has defeated the Maroon & White in each of their six meetings. The battle of these Bulldogs can be followed via Live Stats or internet radio.
