Baseball on extended road trip

Normal- The Alabama A&M baseball team will hit the road for an extended stay away from The Hill.
 
The Bulldogs (2-15) will play a series versus both the Razorbacks of the University of Arkansas and the Aggies of New Mexico State University.
 
The Razorbacks currently stand at 11-5 and are ranked 19th in the USA Today Baseball Top 25 Coaches Poll (down from their previous spot at number two). UA is coming off a 4-0 series sweep over San Diego State.
 
Redshirt freshman outfielder/infielder Tyler Spoon led Arkansas at the plate, hitting .467 (7-for-15) with a homer, three RBI’s and two runs scored. Spoon had at least one hit in each game of the series, extending his hitting streak to 16 straight games to start the season.
 
The two game series with the Razorbacks will include a 6:35 p.m. game on March 12th and a 3:05 p.m. game March 13th at Baum Stadium. The games can be followed live here.
 
After facing Arkansas, the team will travel straight to New Mexico to take on the 8-8 Aggies. The Aggies are coming of a four-game sweep of La Salle University, which brought them back to a .500 win percentage. NMS currently bats .251 as a team and is led by Robert Lecount who averages .333 on 48 plate appearances with 15 RBI’s.
 
The Maroon & White will participate in a three-day, four-game series with the Aggies beginning at 6:05 p.m. on Friday, March 15th. This meeting can be followed via live radio.
