Women’s Basketball Back on the Road at Mississippi Valley State

GREENVILLE - Alabama A&M women's basketball continues its road trip to the Delta with a visit to Mississippi Valley State on Monday, February 10, at the Leflore County Civic Center in Greenville, Miss.

The Bulldogs (3-17, 1-9) are ranked No. 4 in Scoring Offense in Southwestern Athletic Conference games (64.2 per game) and assists (11.6 per game) and ranks second in steals with 11 per match.

Brittney Strickland scored 20 points while Jasmine Sanders added 19 in the latest contest for A&M.  Strickland is averaging 17.0 points a contest while Sanders is scoring 12.8 a game.
 
Mississippi Valley (6-15, 5-5) occupies fifth in the SWAC standings; Valley defeated Alabama State 55-46, Saturday afternoon at the Civic Center to end a five-game losing streak. 

Joncyee Sanders and Jasmyne Sanders led the Devilettes with 11 points each.
