Bulldog Baseball to Take on Defending Champs

Normal- Fresh off their first Southwestern Athletic Conference series victory the Bulldog Baseball team is set for the first of two three-game series with Jackson State University. Action is set for March 8^th and 9^th in Jackson, Mississippi.

The 5-10 Maroon & White will travel to Jackson, Miss. to challenge the 7-5 Tigers.

JSU will enter action coming off a 5-4 victory over the University of South Alabama that allowed them to snap a two game losing streak.

The Bulldogs will enter action coming off a series victory over Alcorn State in which they captured two of three games (3-2 L, 8-7 W, and 5-4 W) in front of the Maroon & White crowd. This was the first conference series victory in the leagues opening week for A&M since the 2009 season.

Action versus the Tigers will kick off with Saturday's doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m.
