Baseball Falls to Tennessee Tech

NORMAL—The Bulldog baseball team fell 7-1 to the Golden Eagles of Tennessee Tech on a cold wintery Tuesday evening.

Dustin Dhanani, Cornelius Woods and Andrew Utterback recorded the hits in the game for AAMU. Utterback posted the run in the seventh when Justen Folger hit a sacrifice fly to center field.

Dakota Smith earned the loss after four innings of work. Smith totaled a pair of strikeouts while Caleb Bowen sent three back the dugout.

A&M will return to the diamond on Saturday and Sunday, April 19-20. They will head down I-65 for a three game Southwestern Athletic Conference series with Alabama State University.
