In the Last Game
Freshman Jameica Cobb recorded her 12th double-figure game of the season with 18 points but it wasn't enough as the Alabama A&M women's basketball team fell to Southern 66-54 Saturday night in the T.M. Elmore Gym.  Senior Ebony Johnson also scored in double figures for the Lady Bulldogs with 14 points, while Freshman Lauren McKee added 12 points. Cobb led A&M with seven rebounds followed by Johnson's six. Junior Hilary Williams led the team with six assists and contributed six rebounds.

Against the Opponent
Last season, Alcorn State swept both games between the two teams, winning 68-52 in Lorman, MS and 81-64 in T.M. Elmore Gym.

Scouting the Opponent
Alcorn State has a 4-14 overall record, including a 54-72 loss against Alabama State in their last contest. The Lady Braves are led by Tia Sanders with 11.8 points per game, while Alexus Freeman adds 9.2 ppg and Brianna Luton posts 8.5 ppg.
