In the Last Game
The Alabama A&M women's basketball team suffered a 58-52 loss against Mississippi Valley State on Saturday at T.M. Elmore Gym. The loss dropped the Lady Bulldogs to 2-17 on the season and 0-10 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Devilettes, meanwhile, moved to 9-12 overall and 6-4 in conference play. Cobb had 15 points and four rebounds, while McKee added nine points and four boards. Senior Ebony Johnson led the team with 13 rebounds and contributed eight points for the Lady Bulldogs. Williams scored five points and led the team with five assists.

Against the Opponent
The Alabama A&M women's basketball team lost a 61-57 hard fought battle to University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Monday, February 6th despite its second half surge. The Lady Bulldogs were led by Jameica Cobb who scored 21-points which included 5-of-6 from the charity stripe. With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fall to 2-11 on the season while the Lady Lions improve to 4-10.Besides Cobb, Alabama A&M had two other players reach double figures – senior Ebony Johnson (12) and freshman Lauren McKee (10). Johnson also led the Lady Bulldogs defensively with eight rebounds.

Scouting the Opponent
Arkansas-Pine Bluff Lady Lions has a 8-13 overall record and 5-5 SWAC record, including a 52-51 loss against Alabama State in their last contest.
