Softball Releases Fall Schedule

HUNTSVILLE--- Head Coach Nakeya Hall has announced the fall schedule for the Alabama A&M University softball program. The fall slate will include three tournaments with eight games to be played in total.

"It's always exciting to play games in the Fall because it gives us a very good assessment of what we need to improve on as a team moving forward," Hall said. "It also gives the newcomers an idea of what to expect playing at the collegiate level. The game is a lot faster and pitching is more challenging for hitters."

The Lady Bulldogs will jumpstart the fall season on Sept. 29 at the Calhoun Community College Playday Tournament, which will feature two games total for A&M. They will play Calhoun at 12 p.m. and Martin Methodist 2 p.m.

On Oct. 7-8, the Lady Bulldogs will compete in the University of North Alabama's Fall Tournament, which will be held at the Florence Sportsplex in Florence, AL. On the first day of the tournament, A&M will face Snead State at 2:30 p.m and Calhoun at 6 p.m. The following day, they will face Martin Methodist at 11 a.m.

A&M will close out the fall season at the University of Alabama-Huntsville Fall Tournament on Oct. 21-22. On the opening day, the Lady Bulldogs will play Calhoun at 5 p.m. To close out the tournament, they will face UAH at 1 p.m. and Wallace State at 5 p.m.
