ITTA BENA, Miss. | Due to field conditions at the MVSU Softball field, the Alabama A&M University softball team will now play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 26 against the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils instead of a three-game weekend series. 

In the final weekend of regular season play, Saturday's double header is set to begin at 11 a.m. with the second game to commence 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first. AAMU (16-25, 7-14 SWAC) swept the Devilettes (2-33, 0-21 SWAC) in the first weekend of conference play, taking a pair of 10-2 victories to go along with a 10-0 shutout.
