PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas — The chase for the Southwestern Athletic Conference women's basketball championship begins today.

Prairie View A&M hosts Alabama A&M in the opening round of the SWAC tournament today at 5:30 p.m.

Fans who are unable to make the trip to Texas can follow the action through multiple media platforms. The winner of tonight's game advances to the tournament semifinals, which will be played on Friday at Bill Harris Arena in Birmingham.
