HUNTSVILLE ^__ Alabama A&M won both games of a doubleheader against Arkansas Pine Bluff on Saturday, sweeping the series against the Southwestern Athletic Conference opponent. 
 
Alabama A&M defeated the Lions 4-3 Friday and swept both games Saturday 6-4 and 10-2 respectively.
 
The Lady Bulldogs are now 13-8 overall, 3-0 in league play.
 
Tamia Lee-Barbadillo continued her hot hitting streak as she hit homers in both Friday's game and in the second game of the doubleheader on Saturday. Her totals for the weekend were four hits, four RBIs, and four runs scored on ten plate appearances. 
 
Ariel McAtee also had a big outing during the second game Saturday with two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored on just three at bats. 
 
Lauren Hayden (9-4) picked up two wins over the weekend totaling 10 strikeouts and only nine hits allowed on 11 innings pitched. Lisabelle Hansell (5-3) also picked up a win on Saturday by striking out four.
 
The Bulldogs are back in action this Friday March 22 at Texas Southern at 3 p.m. and a doubleheader Saturday at noon and 2 p.m. They will be back at home for a series against Jackson State on April 5.
