Box Score HUNTSVILLE __ Senior outfielder Jamia Kirk delivered a walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh Friday, giving Alabama A&M a 2-1 win over Jackson State in a Southwestern Athletic Conference matchup.

After struggling offensively for most of the game, the Lady Bulldogs found their stride in the final inning. Ariel McAtee singled to lead off the seventh for the Bulldogs followed by Madison Pozzi who walked to put two runners on base. A sacrifice bunt moved both runners into scoring position to bring up Kirk, who came through in the clutch to bring in both runs for the walk-off win.

McAtee led the Bulldogs in hits with two, while Jamia Kirk added a hit and two RBIs along with a big assist to put out a runner in scoring position for Jackson State.

Lisabelle Hansell (6-4) pitched a complete game, allowing just one earned run on five hits, while striking out six.

Kayla Owens (5-10) picked up the loss for the Tigers.

These two teams will play a doubleheader to finish out the conference series at Bulldog Field on Saturday April 6, starting at noon.
