HUNTSVILLE, AL ^__ Coming off a 2018 season that saw the Lady Bulldogs crowned regular season SWAC Champions, head coach Rose Powell and her squad is looking to continue that trend in 2019.
 
The Lady Bulldogs return five All-Conference Players, including SWAC preseason Player of the Year Maya Evans, Terra Brooks, Jaelin Gant and Megan Evans on the first team, while Alana Cox was named to the second team.
 
2019 Roster
 
The Bulldogs have added three freshman and two transfers to the squad this season.

The 16 student-athletes on the roster are comprised of four countries, as Karen Asprilla originally hails from Columbia, Ashley Jordan from Barbados, and Josie Daffin from Japan. Of the remaining 12 players, four are from Texas, three from Alabama, two are from Illinois and one apiece from Florida, Kentucky, Michigan and Tennessee.
 
2019 Schedule

Alabama A&M will open their 2019 season in a similar fashion to last year, with a heavy tournament schedule before entering conference play.
 
The Bulldogs road tournaments begin first in Montgomery, Alabama for the 2019 SWAC/MEAC Tournament. They will face Florida A&M and South Carolina State on August 30, before closing out the tournament against Delaware State on August 31. The full schedule is linked above.
