HUNTSVILLE ^__ The Alabama A&M Softball team will host tryouts for the upcoming 2020 season on Tuesday, August 27. 

Tryouts will begin at 3:30 p.m. on the Lady Bulldog Softball Field. Student-athletes who are interested in participating should go by the softball office in Elmore to pick up a waiver form.

The Lady Bulldogs finished the 2019 season with an overall record of 24-19, and won the SWAC East Division title for the second consecutive year. Along with the team success, head coach Cassandra Brown was named SWAC Coach of the Year in her first season and Tamia Lee-Barbadillo won both SWAC Hitter and Player of the Year.
