HUNTSVILLE ^__ After an unusual offseason, the Alabama A&M women's basketball team now has an official 2020-21 schedule, which kicks off on the road for two games in the Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic, where they will play the host Southern Mississippi Eagles on Nov. 27 and Troy University on Nov. 28.
 
A&M will play seven total nonconference games, with home contests against Florida A&M on Dec. 4 and Nicholls State to close out the year on Dec. 30. The team will play road contests against Dayton (Dec. 13), Eastern Kentucky (Dec. 15) and Belmont (Dec. 20) to round out the nonconference slate.
 
The Lady Bulldogs then dive into an 18-game Southwestern Athletic Conference schedule, opening league play with back-to-back home games against Grambling on Jan. 2 and Jackson State on Jan. 4 before heading on the road to battle Mississippi Valley on Jan. 9 and Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Jan. 11 as they follow the home-and-home conference schedule.
 
Alabama A&M is set to host Texas Southern on Monday, Mar. 1, for the final home game of the year, before concluding the regular season with a pair of tests away from Elmore at Jackson State, Mar. 4, and Grambling, March 7.
 

The SWAC Tournament returns to the Magic City when Bartow Arena hosts the event in Birmingham, Ala. scheduled for Mar. 12-13, 2021.
