ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Huntsville native Na'Asha Robinson had a night.

For a track and field athlete, actually, this was a very fast night — the kind that catches attention outside the campus, and region.

While competing at the Toyota USATF Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Robinson automatically qualified in the Xfinity Women's 400-meter dash coming in as the 4th seed behind some of the top athletes in the world including the World Leader Wadeline Jonathas and athletes that are affiliated with organizations such as Adidas and Nike.

The time placed Robinson
in the second position overall and advanced her to the final round. In Albuquerque, the first round contained three heats, with the fastest eight times advancing to a two-section final. Robinson finished the first round in the top position of Heat 3 with a time of 52.34 in the split at 24.10 and the final split at 28.25.200m.

The final round will be held tomorrow at 3:35 p.m.
