PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas. Senior 
Shanique Masters (St. Catherine, Jamaica) and junior 
Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica) led Alabama A&M women's track & field on Day 2 of the 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championships. The pair finished within the top eighth athletes in the field to qualify for the 800-meter finals scheduled for 11.50 a.m. on Saturday, May 7.
Masters finished 4-of-20 in the two lap event, stopping the clock at 2:14.97, Ingram was eighth with a time of 2:16.91. Freshmen 
De'Ajene Johnson (Detroit, Mich.)  placed 11-of-20 finishing in a time of 2:20.92 in the same event.
Sophomore Brian Cox (Miami, Fla.) was 10-of-24 in the shot put with a distance of 11.86m while graduate 
Jairyn Russell finished 13-of-24 in the 100-meter with a time of 12.16.
The Bulldogs will return to action tomorrow morning Saturday, May 7, for the final day of the SWAC Championships. Fans can follow all the action with
