HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – For the second straight week, Alabama A&M men's and women's indoor track & field will be in action as they return to the Birmingham CrossPlex for the KMS Open on Sunday, January 31.
The Bulldogs will send a full field back to Birmingham with a total of 27 student-athletes competing following last week's opening stanza at the KMS Invitational that resulted in a sweep of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) weekly awards.
This week the meet will kick off at 8 a.m. and will feature A&M competing in 28 total events. The women will send 14 individuals who will see action in 14 events while the men will have 13 competing in as many events.
The first events for the Bulldogs will go right at 8 a.m. with individuals competing in the men's weight throw, men's and women's long jump and the high jump. The rest of the events will roll throughout the day with the last scheduled event for Alabama A&M slated for 5:40 p.m. with the men competing in the 4x400-meters.
