HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Following nearly a three week layoff, Alabama A&M (4-2, 2-1 SWAC) women's basketball returns to action at Texas Southern (2-4, 1-3 SWAC) on Monday, February 1. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m. in Houston, Texas.
Prior to their hiatus, the Bulldogs had won their last two road contests, defeating Mississippi Valley State (65-41 on Jan. 9) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (57-47 on Jan. 11) while TSU has lost three straight, with a pair of postponements in the middle of what was to be a five game stretch. Most recently they dropped a 74-62 decision to Alabama State on Saturday, January 30 after having been off since January 16.
