HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – With the winter weather passed, Alabama A&M (0-0, 0-0 SWAC) women's soccer is set to take the field for the first official spring season in program history as they host neighboring Division II Alabama-Huntsville (1-1, 0-0 GSC) to kick off the 2021 campaign on Wednesday, February 24. Game time is slated for 2:30 p.m. at Bulldog Field.
A veteran squad, the Bulldogs enter the new season coming off their best record since 2007 as they went 9-9-1 a year ago. Returning from that squad are 17 players. The Chargers, who compete at the DII level in the Gulf South Conference (GSC), come in with two games under their belt after defeating Shorter (2/6) and falling to Mississippi College (2/21).
