STARKVILLE, Miss. – Alabama A&M men's track & field competed in a handful of events on the opening day of Mississippi State's Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays on Friday, March 26 in advance of a full day of competition on Saturday.
Freshman
Devin Gronewold (Arab, Ala.) led the Bulldogs with a 6-of-11 finish in the high jump, notching a mark of 1.84-meters while sophomore
Brandon McLaren (Clifton, Hanover, Jamaica) tied for seventh in that event at the same height. He finished in that position as a result of the number of attempts to clear that height as compared to his fellow competitors.
Sophomore
Kyle Graham (Mobile, Ala.) placed 34-of-43 in the 400-meters with a time of 51.39 and was followed by freshman
Jeremy Gresham (Montgomery, Ala.) in 37
th (51.98) to round out the top performers.
The Bulldogs are back tomorrow morning, Saturday, March 27 for Day 2 of the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays hosted by Mississippi State.
