BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama A&M men's indoor track & field kicked off the 2021-22 season at the site of the 2022 NCAA National Championships as they competed in the Samford Open at the Birmingham CrossPlex on Saturday, January 22.

Nicholas Powell (Montgomery, Alabama) led the track contingent as he placed 22-of-61 in the 200-meters with a time of 22.78 and senior
Keyshawn Johnson debuted as a Bulldog with a 30

The Bulldogs will be back in action when they return to the Birmingham CrossPlex for the USA Jaguar Invitational on Sunday, February 6.
