BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama A&M men's golf returned to action with a round of 308 on Day 1 of the Southwestern Athletic Conference Birmingham Fall Invitational on Monday, November 14.

Jason Johnson (Toledo, Ohio) led the Bulldogs with a 74, two-over par to tie for 10-of-42 while junior
Felipe Gomez Lopez (Bogota, Columbia) tied for 15
th with a 75. Niall Bagnall was the next highest finisher, knotting at 27
th with a round of 78.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff leads the field with a 293 with Miles and Florida A&M tied for second one stroke back at 294. Alabama State (295) and Texas Southern (303) round out the top five.
Alabama A&M wraps up the tournament with the final 18 holes tomorrow, Tuesday, November 15 at Robert Trent Jones Oxmoor Valley.
