BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – With severe weather moving through the State of Alabama, the 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham have been largely postponed until the second day of competition on Friday, February 18 as announced by the league on Thursday, February 17.
Prior to the opening day being shut down, the Alabama A&M women's program competed in the 3,000-meters with freshman
Taylor Wingo (D'Iberville, Miss.) finishing 11-of-18 (11:33.84) and junior
Aneisha Ingram placing 15
th with a time of 11:51.70.
Based upon the adjusted schedule, all other events will now be run tomorrow beginning at 8:30 a.m. and concluding with the final event at 4:30 p.m.
