BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Following a postponement of the majority of events to the final day, Alabama A&M men's track & field wrapped up the 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, February 18.
Junior
Brandon McLaren (Clifton, Hanover, Jamaica) led the Bulldog contingent with a pair of Top-10 finishes on the day, leading the way with a 3-of-24 outing in the long jump (7.07m). He also placed 10-of-24 in the 60-meter hurdles as he registered a time of 8.46.
Fellow junior
Isaiah McCaulley (Huntsville, Ala.) and senior Demetrius Hurry (Foley, Ala.) notched Top-10 performances of their own as they placed eighth and ninth, respectively, with marks of 14.88- and 14.54-meters in the weight throw.
Junior
Nicholas Powell (Montgomery, Ala.) added a 12-of-30 outing in the 400-meters (49.92) while junior
Kyle Graham (Mobile, Ala.) was 15
th at 50.35.
Alabama A&M track & field will be back in action with the outdoor season beginning in March.
